... and I've already got 3 cards ready for Christmas 2012!
Yes, ok it's a bit crazy but I so got into the habit of creating a card every week that I thought, "It's Wednesday, time to get crafty for Christmas." And let's face it, one more isn't going to harm at the end of the year ;-)
So, in response to prompt #1 over at Jingle Belles, No Time Like The Present(s), I decided to go with the present chipboard pieces from BG Wassail to create this super simple card. I was inspired by a hand-made card I received this year and like the off-centre placement. It's a bit different and the card came together in just a few minutes.
Come on over to Jingle Belles and join in the fun. You'll be smiling all year and laughing by the time December comes around. :-)
Good to see you doing this again, nothing like getting ahead for Christmas!
ReplyDeleteOkay that is just crazy
ReplyDeleteOohhhh gorgeous :) its a great habit to get into, and keep it up as I love seeing the cards
ReplyDeleteYou're right - it's crazy! (Until Dec comes around and we are still making our cards in a mad rush - then you will be the sane one!) I must admit that I'm trying to finish my JYC and feel a bit fed up with Christmas stash at the mo :). Your card is lovely though ...
ReplyDelete(i'm totally chuckling at helen's comment...)
ReplyDeleteas for crazy, missus; the way we USED TO MAKE XMAS CARDS (in a stressy rush the first week of december) and the fact that we did that for soooo many years before deciding "ENOUGH!!!" ...now see... i tend to think THAT was the crazy and THIS is just smart! ;) (but then i WOULD say that, right?!)
as for being in "THE HABIT" of making a card EVERY week... tune in to JB on friday & see if anyone else you know is just too ingrained in the habit to stop now!) :) :) :)
ps: this is ♥GORGEOUS♥ btw; of course i shoulda said that part FIRST but you know you've never made a card that does not make me drool!!!!!!!!!! ♥♥♥
