Personally, I don't think I have the patience for it and this week was no exception - rushing to get these done and off my to do list (sounds worse than it is really!), and the end result? Well.... ok.
This week over at Jingle Belles, we've been challenged to get ribbons down on our cards.
I have a lot of ribbons that I rarely use to be honest, and had a vision of a design that would use a lot up at once. Hardly scratching the surface of the metres I have but at least it's a start.
So I'll give the Jingle Belles prompt "Tie a Holiday Ribbon Around the Christmas Tree" another go next week to see if I can come up with something that makes me happier.
But in the meantime, Happy Wednesday everyone and I'm about to hit my half way mark for my card pile - how's yours coming along? ;-)
Seriously ... You think that's just ok! Lol. I'd be over the moon if I made cards as lovely as you do :)
ReplyDeleteLove those sweet little reindeer and those wonderful ribbon bows ... so glad you joined us at jingle belles.
ReplyDeleteYou can't go wrong with a bow :). And though it might not have a made a huge dent in your ribbon stash, it is at least a few inches less! Your little reindeer is very sweet..
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness Lisa, you are too hard on yourself! Once again you have created spectacular cards!! I love the different papers and patterns you used and your choice of ribbons are fabulous!
ReplyDeletewhaddaya mean, "welllll... ok"??!?!? these are flippin' GORGEOUS and whilst it might not have created a world ribbon shortage you've got SIX KINDS on each (GORGEOUS!) card! surely a triumph in anybody's book, but feel free to send both of these to *ME* if it will help, lol! (seriously i ♥LOVE♥ 'em!)
