I turned the sketch to suit what I wanted with the new diagonal corner trend and the single photo I wanted to use. Of course, changing the card sketch to make a layout means a few more changes to fit the photo but I maintained the position of the bow and the journalling. I like to think you can still see the original design even if my layout looks all mine :-)

So very beautiful Lisa, love the twine and the angled journalling - so very YOU!
ReplyDeleteI am definitely a bit sketch a phobic. I like shuffling stuff about on the page more. But I always love to see how other scrappers interpret a design and it's always inspiring
ReplyDeleteVery neat to put the journalling on the diagonal - and such a great sketch. I love your white washed planks too behind the photo - just lovely!
ReplyDeleteLove your take on the sketch, and your limited colour palette works great. I love sketches - and they often are not recognizable in the finished product for me either - but I like having a quick start.
ReplyDeleteGreat page - it was a tricky sketch to use. Love the twine and the angled journalling.
ReplyDeleteLove your rendition of this sketch and love the feel of the layout some many cool textures
ReplyDeleteOh I love your take on it and how clean the layout looks with the white space. Loving the wood texture too!
