Seems these days like I only blog twice a week, and one of those is a short Jingle Belles make. Oh well, I guess that's something at least :-)
This week, the girls over at Jingle Belles challenged us to get out our stickers and get sticking.
Sticker company E.A.D. Designs is sponsoring the challenge and their DT came up with some gorgeously cute cards - I really recommend you popping over to this week's post to check them out.
So, one or more stickers. I have a lot of stickers and find them hard to use so this was a great chance for me to use a couple up. In the end, I went with some still lovely but rather old 7 Gypsies 97% Complete stickers and created something soooo simple.
Cute!
I really need to get the box out now and finish off the insides (yes, I know I said I would do that a few months ago!) and get the card list together. Need to think about getting things written and ready for posting - my biggest procrastination is actually going to the post office so I need to get a head start.
It's the middle of November - Christmas is a coming! :-)
This is so cute Lisa! I love how you used the words to create a Christmas tree!
ReplyDeleteSimple yet very effective.
ReplyDeleteWith 5 (?)weeks to Christmas I am really wishing I had taken part in this challenge. I have made a total of 2 Christmas cards last Friday at Freya's Craft group! Think the majority may be shop bought this year again!
OH WOW!!!!!!!! ok, not only do i ♥♥♥LOVE♥♥♥ this, i actually still HAVE some of those 7G wordstrip stickers AND some very similar stripey green paper and i now totally KNOW what i'm gonna do with those ASAP!!!!!!! brilliant, miss lisa! LOVE this!!! (& ta for the inspiration!) :) :) :)
ReplyDeleteps: i find if i go to the post office as soon as they release the "cool" xmas themed stamps, i tend to want to mail my cards earlier. do they have "seasonal" stamps in germany? i realize as i type this, i have no idea! making & printing out cool mail-merge digital labels for my cards also gets me excited about mailing them! ;)
thats really cool!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great use of those skinny mini stickers.
ReplyDeleteVery Creative Lisa!! LOVE it!
