I used a complete 6x6 sheet from my super cute Crate Paper pad that Helen sent me in our Christmas embellie exchange and it was perfect to mirror the pretty flowered wall paper that I used to have in my teenage bedroom which turned. After that, I didn't think it needed much as this was one was all about the journalling. Just a bit about what made up my room and why it was so cool!
I was in love with this room once I had completely grunged it up with all those posters on the walls. My friends and I shared a lot of teenage angst and a whole lot of fun in there and it was nice to look back and remember.

When's the last time you walked down memory lane while looking through photos from all those years ago? I can totally recommend it. I'm loving making these layouts this month.
I can certainly remember that I wasn't allowed to stick posters on my walls in case I peeled the paint off! I love the pictures and all that room for journaling - great page
ReplyDeleteGreat to have those old photos and I love your journaling - it's sparked some memories about my old room!
ReplyDeleteAh yes, days spent mooning in my bedroom (or my friends' rooms) with nothing to do (no TV, mobile, Gameboy, etc) listening to cassettes on tape players - thank goodness those days are long gone LOL!
ReplyDeleteSuper page - as crowded with important stuff as your walls were!
I had posters everywhere! Shaun Cassidy and Parker Stevenson :) I love your layout Lisa!
ReplyDeleteThis made me smile! My 1984 bedroom looked a lot like yours! Beautiful choice of papers. And I love your David Bowie t-shirt! :)
ReplyDeleteI have happy memories of my room and this really has bought hem flooding back
ReplyDeleteOh, I was so envious of your room - I had to share. And your bed, remembering it was bigger. And I seem to remember more clothes on the end of your bed than in your wardrobe... And the angst, there was a lot of that
ReplyDeleteYUMMY! This is awesome!
ReplyDeleteLove it! Great documenting!
ReplyDeleteYour journaling is great. Love how you are using old photos.
ReplyDeleteCan I get away with teasing you about journaling more than you layered?
