This week, the Belles have asked us to be inspired by words with their prompt "Text Me" and to create a card that celebrates text.
Playing along with LOAD and being unconcentrated, I realised really late last night that I hadn't got around to my cards yet and decided to go with something even more simple than usual.
I picked out a sketch online, #320 Mojo Monday (find it here) which didn't need much thinking and just grabbed a few coordinating papers and made these two in 30 minutes. The panel on the front ended up being a bit bigger than it should be but I wasn't going to take it off and re-do it, so finished they are!
I will try to get a bit more creative next week for my second take on this prompt. I have a lot of wordy paper or wordy elements so this prompt should not be too difficult. My biggest problem is always the design - such a small area tends to get laid out the same every time.
Can anyone suggest any good cardmaking sketch sites?
Thanks for dropping by today, hope you are getting better winter weather than we are (i.e. we are getting NONE!).
