Wednesday Wonderland

Just under the wire this week. I won't have time tonight to make any cards - LOAD takes care of that! So I had to find 30 minutes before work this morning to have a second go at the Jingle Belles prompt "Text Me" to make words the centre point of our cards.

I decided to go for sparkly glitter letters which are gorgeous but never right for any layout I'm making. I rummaged through until I managed to make two JOYs (I think the rest might have to go - there was a distinct lack of useful letters left!) and then ransacked my Pinterest Cards board for inspiration.

This is the beautiful card I used to lift (see source here) which had been made with Stampin' Up by Heather Klump at Downstair Designs.

In my rush to get these done within the 30 minutes I had, I made a few vital mistakes such as not matting the banner flag  - doh! - and attaching the tiny tag which I might correct if I can (subject to glue) but on the whole, this design really worked for me and is bound to be one I use again.

If I can get the banners off the card, I'll certainly try to mat them! Can't believe I missed that.

All papers were found in my Christmas scrap box which does not seem to get any emptier, no matter how many cards I make!

Watch out M (my niece)! Left over glitter letters on their way!

Thanks to the Jingle Belles for another great prompt and looking forward to seeing what you come up with on Friday!

  3. Those lime snowflakes are so fun ... and those glittery letters are the perfect focal point ... so very glad you got texty with us at jingle belles.

  4. Those are fun. But you are completely depressing me with all these cards made up ahead of time. I'm sure I'll either forgive you by Christmas or report you to Santa.
