... well ok, maybe not for a few months but over at Jingle Belles he's making a guest appearance for this week's challenge, "Jolly (& lucky) Old St. Nick".
Something using Cosmo Cricket's sweet retro images and paper and within a few minutes, I was done!
When I look at that pile of cards ready to go, I am so excited that I will be all done and dusted by the time the nights start drawing in again.
In the meantime, enjoy the warmer, longer days and happy hump day!
ETA: I changed out the bottom banner to one stamped in dark brown instead of black - it looks much better. I am a bit annoyed with myself that I inked all the edges in black instead of brown too - the image is such a lovely shade that it would have looked better - learning point for next time! ;-)
Gorgeous, love the colours and the image is one of my faves.xxx
ReplyDeleteYour card looks great Lisa! I love that retro image, its too cool! You did a fantastic job with the challenge, as always!
ReplyDeletegotta love that cosmo goodness!!
ReplyDeleteLisa, I am a bit jealous that you are so set and ready for Christmas! You are ONE smart cookie! I had every intention, but I have been living in limbo with my Mom for the last six months, so I don't have all my crafty things until my son and I can meet up with my husband again. (He's in the US military). It was only suppose to be for 3 months, but orders change etc). YOUR CARD is FABULOUS! I love all the design elements and papers and I for sure love the St. Nick image! Jealous for sure because that is one fun card! :-)
ReplyDeletewell, i have to say i ♥LOVE♥ that image and i think the "HO HO HO" looks good in black... but now that you say it, yeah, i bet it's even COOLER in dark brown--nice swap! (i think black inked edges ALWAYS look good, however, and really, you don't SEE the color, just the visual "break" between layers! well done, missus! ♥
ReplyDeleteps: & YEAH! how exciting that we're got ALL THESE CARDS done already!!! i can hardly believe it myself! whatever will i panic over in december??! ;)
I love your retro image. It looks wonderful paired with those pretty papers!
ReplyDeleteI am totally lovin' that retro Santa ... and that Ho Ho Ho is such a perfect sentiment ... gotta love those learning moments, even though I think the edges look great ... so glad you joined our jingle belles fun..
