Counterfeit Kit Challenge November 2020 kit reveal and hop

I'm thrilled to welcome November into my world.

It's a new month, my favourite of the year, we are just in the process of moving, bringing new routines and experiences and I'm just smiling. Great stuff!

I'm organising the Counterfeit Kit Challenge kit this month, as I try to do every November and was so inspired by the Hip Kit Club October 2020 kit that I knew this was going to be my inspiration! I love it so much and wish I could have it myself. One day I'll subscribe to the Hip Kit Club but until that time, I'll just admire them from a distance and create my own versions of them.

The kit reveal hop list is at the end of the post and please make sure you don't miss any of the gorgeous creations that the team and our Guest Designer Sarah have produced this month. Details of how you can share will also be down there but for now, here is our inspiration kit:

There are some other kits over at the Hip Kit Club too if you need even more inspiration.

My take is all about the autumn vibes and doesn't really look a lot like the original but the feel is definitely the same. Here's Splendour.

I started off by pulling out autumn designs and colours which I felt matched the original and found that I had a lot of Carta Bella and Echo Park in there as well as some vintage BasicGrey.

Then I added a range of alphas, some puffy stickers, a pack of die cuts from the same collection as the papers (Fall Market I think - kit packed away right now so I can't check!), the sticker sheet, a selection of embellishments gifted to me last year which will be perfect...

... enamel dots, some tassels, journalling spots and a handful of random bits and pieces which caught my eye while I was pulling my kit together.

It's a big kit and I probably won't use much of it directly, but these papers give me all the autumn feels!

Here's the hop so that you don't miss any of the wonderful inspiration:

Here's to a fabulous November - enjoy!

  6. I went to the photos before reading the text and I immediately thought you’d gone for your BG stash. That kit deserves to be scrapped; you’ll make some gorgeous pages so 8 hope you find time. I’m not sure whether I’ll be able to join in again this month, but all that lusciousness has me daydream planning.

  7. Very fallish, but still fresh. I just gave away my last little 6 x 6 pack of Basic Grey to a friend who didn't have enough 12 x 12 to finish a project she had started. Well, I think it was my last -- one never knows what is buried in my cabinets.
